Input attributes of html language

Here you will get to know more about input attributes in HTML language. As per the requirements, the input tag includes many attributes to fill necessary details in a box format or in general form filling format. On many websites, we find much necessity of filling up forms for entering details in the database.

The input tag includes attributes like:

1. Value–  This attribute used to specify the initial value for an input field

<input type="text" name="Fname" value="CODESPEEDY">

2. Type – This defines the type of field you need in your content. The different input types  you can           include are- “submit”, “radio”,”text”,”time”,”week”,”month”,”image”,”number” and many more.

  • Text -It provides a single-line text input field to enter the asked details.
<input type="text" name="Fname">
  • Password – This is used to define the password field in the content.
<input type="password" name="Fname">

3. Name – This attribute specifies the name of an input element. This acts as an identifier that is sent to the server when the form is submitted. The name is randomly chosen for specific input.

<input type="text" name="Fname">

4. Id – This is used for uniquely identifying an element.

Note – The id should be unique throughout the entire document.

<input type="text" id="code" name="codespeedy" />
